Acer Palmatum Var. Dissectum ‘Viridis’

The delicately cut leaves of Acer palmatum var. dissectum ‘Viridis’ give it an ethereal, lacy appearance. Shrouded in lime green foliage from spring summer, it saves it most spectacular display for the autumn, when its leaves create a tapestry of orange and gold. With a spreading, mound-forming habit, this Japanese Maple is a compact and bushy variety that will suit any garden, small or large. A superb deciduous tree for a Japanese garden, contemporary courtyard scheme or even a large container on the patio. As with other finely cut foliage plants, it is best grown in a sheltered, lightly shaded spot away from strong winds and scorching hot sunshine. Height: 2m (6′,5″). Spread: 3m (10’).
