Astilbe White

This long lived perennial thrives in shady spots on boggy soils where many plants refuse to grow. Elegant plumes of white astilbe flowers rise above handsome, finely cut foliage in summer. Astilbe makes a lovely feature in a bog garden or by a shaded waters edge, where it will attract a wide range of butterflies to its striking blooms. Height: 70cm (28″). Spread: 50cm (20″). Planting depth: Zone 1 in boggy soil.
