Clematis Armandii ‘Apple Blossom’

Clematis armandii ‘Apple Blossom’ is an immensely popular variety for its sweet almond fragrance that fills the air in late winter to spring – long before most plants dare to bloom! The long, stems are cloaked in leathery, dark green foliage with a glossy sheen. New growth emerges bronze making a pretty contrast with its early blooms. This vigorous evergreen climber is best grown in a sheltered spot away from strong winds.
