Our Returns Policy
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- In their original condition
- Unused and in original packaging
- Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of certain products, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- All Compost (opened bags)
- All Flower & Shrub Seeds (opened packets)
- Allium Bulbs (once planted)
- Annual Plants (perishable nature)
- Alpine & Rockery Plants (specialist items)
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps to process your return or exchange:
- Contact our customer service team within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your request.
- Provide your order details including order number, product name, and reason for return/exchange.
- Wait for approval – we’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
- Package your return securely in the original packaging if possible.
- Ship your return to our Leeds address (provided in your return approval email).
Return Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days of arrival), we’ll process your refund or exchange. You’ll receive an email notification when this is complete.
Refund Method & Timing
- Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days after approval.
- PayPal Payments: Refunds will be processed to your PayPal account within 3-5 business days after approval.
Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Exchange Process
If you’re requesting an exchange for a different item:
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly state in your email that you wish to exchange the item
- Specify the replacement product you’d like
- We’ll process the exchange once we receive your return
If the exchange item is of higher value, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it’s of lower value, we’ll refund the difference.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged item or incorrect product:

- Include photos of the damaged item or incorrect product received
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs
